Our rural power supply services include:

• Directional Drilling

Directional drilling for under grounding your existing power supply is fast, efficient, and does not require digging up driveways and paddocks. This prevents future ground slumping and water pooling. Drilling only requires a drill entry and exit hole every 100m (max). When we drill we pull back a power duct at the same time resulting in a very quick and clean job compared to trenching.

Another benefit is that we can pull back multiple ducts at once. Meaning that if you needed a new water pipe or telecommunication’s etc we can do this in one go for little extra cost.

• Trenching 

Trenching is a long time proven way for running new power supplies. Trenching is effective in places where drilling is not suitable, ie very rocky ground. As electricians we can complete the trenching, install ducts and cables, and complete connections all in one. Trenching also has a benefit of running other services at the same time.

• Power Pole and Crossarm Replacement/Repair

We have our own off-road LV rated bucket truck that we use for gaining access to poles on farms. Being 4wd we can get into paddocks and tight places with ease. This has been a great tool for us to eliminate the use of ladders, which makes us a lot safer and more efficient.

We can replace broken/old poles, replace or repair cross-arms and hardware, repair broken or damaged lines, re-tension exisiting lines, install extra poles to raise lines.

We are also around after storms to help out get the power flowing again. 

• Power upgrades

If you think you are having low voltage issues, needing an extra phase, or adding in more loading you may need to consider a power upgrade. We can assist you through the whole progress, from making a design, quoting to do the job, applying for a power upgrade through the local power provider (lines company).

We can do anything from small houses right through to subdivisions.

We can also convert your current overhead power supply to a new underground power supply using some of the methods above.
